The Case of the Missing Coffee.....

Logo_3_RGB_LargeWelcome to my blog!There are so many possibilities of applying the wonderful healing exercises of Yoga.  Let us jump start our day with some BREATHING!!!!!  So soothing, and energizing, the effects are long-term-delicious, and we can find something we love as much as tea or coffee!!   (It might take awhile for the practice/habit to soak in and integrate to be as fully appreciated!) Please do give it a chance for as long as it takes!!  You may have to read this several times so that it might make a good lasting impression and spark your inner power.Start with an intention of listening carefully to yourself, making sure you do not strain or push yourself in any way, guiding yourself to respect boundaries of discomfort, progressing slowly and steadily.  Begin while you are still in bed, unless your partner will be disturbed.  Inhale all life and exhale with gratitude for everything you can think of that you are blessed to have and to be.  NEXT breath can also be in bed, unless you need to leave the bed and in that case, slowly get out of bed and stand or sit somewhere comfortable with space to move your arms.   Inhale as you open both arms wide at shoulder height, as if you are about to hug someone.  Exhale and bring the arms back together and lower them back to your sides. Try not to strain....nurture and nourish yourself with an easy length of inhale/exhale, and if there is injury or stiffness, adjust the height and openness of the arms to respect your condition.  If moving the arms is difficult or painful, IMAGINE you are doing the movement while you breathe.  If it feels right inhale and stretch both arms overhead, exhale and lower the arms.   Repeat all as many times as you can!  Then sip some body temperature clean water.  Prepare for the day with your morning bath and exercise routine....etc.It is important to experience the first moments of the day free of our technical devices,  coffee or tea.  Make it a promise to yourself each day.  Afterward, you can have your tea and check your emails, instagram, and tweets......Bonne journée!   Beautiful day!Love, Peace, and Blessings,Joy
